Romney seems to have most of my views

United States FlagAMERICA–It’s Clear that we really need to pray for the people of our Country. From now and During the elections of President.

Pray with me for wisdom in voting for the right candidate.

So far—Out of all the Candidates, It seems to look like Romney holds most of my political views. Huckaby did, until I found out his stand on illegal immigration. I pondered upon McCain until last night.

Presidential Elections

United States Flag

Wow, not much of a choice available to us as far as I can see.
Here’s my view at this point of the candidates:

My personal Choice is still undetermined. It comes down to
illegal immigration and religious beliefs for me.

Here’s my views of the main Political Candidates:

Romney – I appreciate the way he holds himself as he speaks. He’s confident yet humble, common sense resolutions, quick on his feet, and just a decent demeanor when you see him. I agree with most of his political platform and views, moral values, ONLY THING hindering my vote is his Mormon Belief.

McCain – He’s pretty rough around the edges with the way he projects himself, but passionate for his beliefs, morals, political views. He lives his Christian faith more than focusing on it or being in the lime-light with it. I agree with most of his political views except his view on training immigrants and his thoughts on illegal immigrants.

I feel immigration processes need to be followed through with, there needs to be changes. I am aware of people having illegal Mexican immigrants in their families here in the USA living under constant fear of being deported, yet have found loop holes in our social security system, tax system, welfare and medical systems to allow them to get privileges in the USA free or even without that they refuse to become legal. When as a citizen, tax payer, and legal resident needing medical assistance or social security can’t receive the help they’re privileged to receive.
Ron Paul – I agree with some of his political views, but most views are Too Liberal

Obama – I don’t agree with the democrat platform at all. My view of Obama is he’s a Black Radical Christian belonging to a church that boldly proclaims the importance of African Radicalism or a form of Racism Theology (read an article expanding on that thought), Anti-Israel, Anti-America. Obama Says he doesn’t agree with his church, but continues to be a member….hmm. So which is it? Leaves a huge suspicion as to how he’d run the “white house” or would political correctness according to his view have to change that title.

Clinton – I don’t respect this woman’s demeanor. I’ve heard her taking credit for other people’s work as if she did it, she can’t make up her mind on issues…basically saying whatever is popular in her opinion instead having her own true voice, above everything her voice and appearance makes me cringe when I hear it or see her. I don’t agree with her democratic platform. I feel she says anything to get what she wants. I don’t feel she’s looking out for the best interest of the USA, but for her personal best interest or interests that assist her appearance to others. Having an adulterous husband doesn’t make her life any easier I’m sure, and he’d be our 2nd Lady….eeekkk the thought of it.

Well, these are my thoughts. What are yours?

I invite you to share your personal views or help persuade me on how to vote!
Leave your comments. Thanks!

Disappearing Receipts

Preparing taxes this year is going slightly better for me than previous years have gone. For me, unreadable expense receipts seems to be my biggest drudgery during tax time. Especially when documenting business expenses for the IRS. I don’t know if you’ve noticed this, but a lot of receipts now-a-days seem to have disappearing ink (thin fax paperlike receipts) and by the end of the year the receipt is a blank paper.

I’ve discovered a few ways to preserve the receipts better:

1) scanning them right away and saving as a .pdf.
2) print or copy the receipts.
3) putting receipts in an envelope of some kind.

Interesting Visitor

I had an interesting visitor to Jabberjuls. The person was from Malaysia. Discovering that fact sure was an intriguing challenge. I was determined to appease my curiosity about what the mystery words on their website said. To my own amazement, the internet paved the way of discovery… and extremely easily at that.

I googled a few words from the visitor’s website to findout what language it was. Sure enough it found some Malayasia translations to English for me. So I tried babble fish, to discover Malay isn’t a language they convert. Then I stumbled upon a free online translator from citcat.com

Whether it was accurate of not, I’ll never know, but it pacified me a little to discover the malay words used in a comment were decent…at least to the translator. They apparently enjoyed one of Jabberjuls images from the site and the article about friendship and prayer and wrote their own opinion about the subject too. Pretty cool discovery! Thanks for visiting… The internet resources continue to amaze me. Now I have a resource to translate Malay to English

Relationship and Friendship

Just some thoughts to ponder….

How do you be a friend to or have a relationship with someone that doesn’t know you? Or with someone that may have known you before the Lord changed your life and you completely. Especially within your family– you were raised around each other to care and love each other– how do you handle being around a family member that pretends to know you, but when it comes down to facing a problem, facts, or a life matter, anything you say isn’t believed or trusted? How do you continue on being a friend to someone that feels like anything you say is hurtful, judging, rude or intolerant? How do you have a relationship with someone that can’t see your heart or good intentions in matters, can’t see the good in you, no matter how hard you try to respect and love that person? How do you continue being around someone in denial of who you are even though you Love them Deeply and would give your life for them?

Jenna 2007Well, Mark shared this photo with me of Jenna awhile back. I can’t help but giggle every time I see it.

It’s not funny knowing she’s unhappy, but that face is so cute.

She doesn’t know how to get her way now does she?! :) Isn’t she the cutest…  Gotta love it!!!

Tim’s Visit for Christmas

Tim came to visit for Christmas. I made arrangements for him to see his grandparents on both Russ and My sides from Saturday through Sunday. On Monday, Our family left for the desert with Tim.

Luke sure was glad to see Tim, as well as all of us were. It’s amazing how we’ve all changed in just a few months. I know Tim was a bit homesick, so it was great to see each other again and spend some family time together catching up on all the changes. The night we picked him up at the airport, we took Tim over to Filippi’s in Little Italy area and enjoyed their delicious pizza as we talked. Once we got home, we celebrated our Christmas exchange together. Knowing we had to get up early to meet up with grandparents the next day we goofed around awhile and then each of us slowly headed off to sleep. Buddy remembered Tim and was all excited to play catch with him and his new toys.

<Even Russ missed Tim and couldn’t quit telling how much we’ve missed him being around. They had a few good days riding all over the desert before Tim’s motorcycle literally stopped running. Good thing Tim is becoming a motorcycle mechanic, he now has his 1st bike of his own to fix and get running.

Tim was scheduled to go back to Arizona around the 30th. So He decided to come in a night early to stay with my parents – his grandparents overnight. They had a great night and next day together before dropping him off at the airport around 4pm.

Christmas and New Year’s in the desert was an extremely long time. It was definitely a long awaited change of scenery to start off the New Year right. Luckily for Russ, his work is mobile and keeping up with business in that area was made easy. New Client prospects at his fingertips.

I was glad to see Tim too and enjoyed the huge Hugs he kept giving me. I’m proud of you Tim. Keep up the good work.

In Loving Memory of Pat Bolin

I apologize for not having the exact date of her death or any information regarding burial arrangements. In January, I learned that Pat passed away by word of my mother. Pat is survived by her children, Richard, James, John, and an older son that I never met. I believe she had some grandchildren by her older son and John, but I’ll have to double check with mom.
Pat Bolin was a good friend to my mother and our family for quite some time–ever since I was little Pat was coming over to our house to hangout, eat, celebrate, etc with us. She was definitely a part of the family.

I knew her and remember her as a good woman that loved Jesus. She was tough on the outside, yet soft-hearted and a deeply caring lady. I remember her generousity and kindness that she always gave to me and my boys – Tim & Luke when they were younger. She lived through lots of hardships, health challenges, and good times too. We love you Pat and will miss you dearly. My deepest sympathies go out to Richard, James, John, and all the family.
