The Lord provided our needs for bills through a reimbursement that was unexpected. Thank you Lord.

Well, Saturday night was extremely windy at Mom & Dad’s house, which knocked over several of their awnings. The odds that Matt would be available during his busy schedule of working, school, and church, made it slim to none for availability to give Mom and Dad a hand. To me, the Lord knew Russ and I would be out of town visiting Tim and provided ahead of time for Matt to be available to help out. Best part is that he was willing to honor the Lord in helping his grandparents no problem. Thank you Lord for helping him to be willing and find time to assist in this time of need.

I struggled to stay focused on tax preparation. I found myself doing things I wouldn’t normally do just to run interference on doing this task. I even darned my son’s socks and pj’s to avoid taxes. When I caught my self creating other tasks, I stopped and asked the Lord to help me to focus and accomplish what I need to for taxes for this day. He did help me. I focused on finishing scanning some receipts and coordinating my financial lists. Thank you Lord for everything! Also showing me how I can multi-task too in the midst of the focus.
Normally, Russ & I go shopping in the afternoon, but today Russ had several business calls which delayed us from leaving the house as usual. To my amazement, our neighbors 3rd grade daughter had come home with a friend to an empty house, locked out, and scared. The Lord gave me the opportunity to help her get ahold of her mother, make sure she was fed, and help her get to the Girls & Boys Club safely. The Lord knew her need and allowed us to be there for her. Thank you Lord for this opportunity to serve you.

After prayer for the Lord to intervene in my son’s attitude at school. The Lord used a school counselor to not only compassionately hear my concern, but to take time to intervene and advise Luke with a classroom situation and future concerns, which helped him get focused and make things right with the teacher he had problems with and have a better day.

Well, getting this hotel last night was definitely the Lord providing a last minute need. Russ was asked to meet clients up North for a day to get some projects worked on, computers updated, etc. Having little to no extra money to spend, the Lord provided a 4-star Hotel at a 1-star Hotel price and the clients even offered to cover the cost. Thank you Lord for Providing.

The Lord was wonderful today, as he always is faithful. Today Russ was having difficulty fixing some computer code and was slightly beside himself. After praying for the Lord to help Russ figure it out…the Lord did provide the fix to come to his mind. The Lord is also helping me stay focused on our taxes…I’m continuing the totalling and calculations to have accurate information for our returns. Thank you Lord for helping me today. I love you so much. Thanks…:)

well I haven’t had time to notate how the Lord has been seen in my life for quite sometime now. The challenges of Luke during all his probation requirements for court, my mom and dad’s health issues, marriage issues, life all hitting at one-time. I look back now and its like time just flew with too much stuff–where was I in all this? Definitely being sustained by Jesus.
This past December 2009 Dad died. Realization of Sibling craziness– non-relationship. Torn apart by lies from my Mom by siblings until March. Reconnected and reunited. In April, Luke moved to Arizona with Tim. May 27, Mom died. Not only loss of parents but now an empty nest too trying to discover who I really am as a person other than just wife, Mom, and daughter. Amazingly amongst all this pain and trials the Lord was in the midst of it all. All things worked together for Good. The Lord is still sustaining me even during the grieving moments of loss and memories. He’s with me even with the tears. Thank you Lord for your faithfulness. I give my life totally to you. Intervene.

Today is a good day. Just relaxing and enjoying the blessing of peace for a change. Getting over a crazy cold too. Looking forward to traveling to see my boys next week. Thankful for the blessing of Russ’s job and him being able to work. Lord you are good. Thank you for helping me through another day.
