Tready

Yesssss…. 3 miles on the tready (Treadmill). I’ve forgotten how good it feels after exercising. I’m out of breath, can barely stand, and sweating like crazy. Listening to music, Crying, coughing, hacking, and thirstier than heck during the whole course of the walk. Why crying? Oohh it seems like my mind starts thinking all about life and today missing my Father’s talks and my Mom’s voice of care. Wondering if Russ and I will ever talk to each other passionately caring about the other person as if so worth the time of day. Or if we just go on like we do… Busy until… Each day feels worthless any more…

So I’m making changes. Gonna strive to exercise, read the word, continue praying thru the day, love Russ the best I can, and try to figure out what the heck my purpose really is. Will I even know when I’ve figured that out? We shall see.

Fireproof the Movie

FireproofFireproof the movie is an excellent resource for married couples desiring to improve their marriage; be it from being newlyweds or marriages feeling divorce is the only choice. Well, your marriage can change and work for the better with the Lord in the center. Click here to see the trailer and read a brief summary of what the movie is about.

Try the Love Dare! It challenges you to do specific things each day and journal about it and the affect on yourself and your spouse. You can pickup the movie, love dare journals, and other study resources at your local Family Christian Store for individual couple use or to facilitate a couples study group.

The Love Dare can help you evaluate your motives and intentions in your marriage. It will guide you to and through verses in the Bible about what God says our roles are in marriage. Discusses how Respect to a man is real Love, but to a woman Love means caring, listening, and being kind. Men and Women are different and God made us that way on purpose….learning the differences and honoring those differences as the Lord desires us to is what builds your marriage up.

This is the first couples study that Russ has personally took an interest in, searched out, and pursued for us to do together. I’m excited to see where the Lord leads our marriage. Thanks mom and dad for sharing the movie with us and planting the seeds.

Colonix – (day 20)

Colonix box pictureDaily update for you.

Russ

It seems like Russ is having great success with Colonix. He faithfully does his regimen, gets the bowels moving, and he’s all good. He says that his desire for alcohol and coffee has slowed down and he has a new appreciation for the taste of water compared to before. He also claims that he feels more energetic and just an all around “feels good” feeling.

Julie
For me, after having the mystery 4-day fever that ended Sunday (3 days ago), I’m not seeing much difference from my movements any more, but I am moving a little daily. So that is more than before I started the program. I am noticing that I’m burping up the herbal taste from the paranil pills throughout the day though. I guess my body isn’t liking some of this stuff or something. :)
On the positive side, I’ve noticed a few new things:

Notes to Jesus

Note to Jesus TeddyHi Friends,

Many people probably already do this, but I’d like to share something that has been most valuable to me. During rough times is when it seems to help the most.

Write a Note or Journal to Jesus.

It’s writing a letter to Jesus, writing a prayer, venting, and even just writing thank you notes and praise notes to the Lord. Writing about things he has shown me through out the day or how he’s handled a situation in a way that I would’ve never imagined possible. It’s been extremely useful to do this. Not only to get things off your chest to go forward in situation, but also as something to build a bond of friendship and reverence between you and the Lord.

Blogger vs. Journalist

Will Bloggers receive legal protection like “Real” Journalists? Looks like Congress is pushing to make it so. They’ve made some new revisions here lately to the Federal Shield Law or using the actual name, “Free Flow of Information Act of 2007,” that just might provide the protections of “Journalism” to bloggers too.
